Resident Engagement Platform for HOA Living

A SaaS company in the HOA management industry partnered with Interaria to develop an industry transforming application rich resident web and mobile platform to improve community engagement.

For several years our team integrated tightly with the company's operations - and vision - , and managed the entire SDLC processes from customer feedback processing and weighing to feature planning; and from prototyping to full development and deployment.

Our custom developed web / mobile based software applications include solutions for:

  1. Multi-tier user account management systems. User accounts are imported and/or created for different user types and admin types.
  2. MFA system. Multi-factor authentication during login.
  3. My Account Systems. User has a control on their profile info, visibility, picture and notification settings.
  4. Content Management Systems. Admin user can add/edit content on site whether a text content, image content or documents.
  5. Documents folder and management system. Document management is robust is custom created document folders with set visibility rights.
  6. Public and private content pages. Content visibility can be controlled.
  7. Events calendar with RSVP capabilities. Events can be set with RSVP that is capped to certain attendee numbers and other criteria.
  8. Amenity calendar management and  reservation system. Amenity calendars can be managed and user can make reservation within set rules. Reservation payment can be made and processed.
  9. Private group pages. Users can start private topic related groups.
  10. Social media style communication feed. Users can communicate in social media feed that has modern posting and delivery report capabilities. Posts can be filtered, saved and replied.
  11. Integrated email, text and push notifications. Users can receive notifications according to their preferences.
  12. Online forms builder and  management systems. Admins can create custom online forms for users to fill. The form results are integrated to reporting.
  13. Architectural request & Maintenance request system. User can submit online requests that can be processed.  Notifications go out on each update.
  14. Task management system. User can add tasks and to-do lists, assign tasks and track status updates.

Conduct Surveys on the Go - Application for a Medical Company

Interaria was contracted by an international medical company, Smith+Nephew, to create a portable and scalable solution for collecting and processing medical survey data on the go. The system was to be exclusively used internally requiring user accounts and a secure login and management platform.

We identified a need for an HTML5 based iPad web application that the users can access even when off-line, and not connected to a WiFi network.

Developed application features:

  1. User account system
  2. My profile
  3. Access custom list of clients
  4. Sort accessed information
  5. Collect and easily submit input information
  6. Store and process information
  7. Generate visual graphics and reports on data
  8. Access admin portal

Summary: Our solution was a hybrid app developed with both the HTML5 code and iOS codes. The core of the app loads from a web server but utilizes some of the nice features of an iOS app such as push notifications and GPS enabled mapping.

Competition Management System for a National Dance Company

Interaria was called in to provide custom web-based competition management system for a dance company, Dupree Dance, that hosts competitions across the US. Dance studios need to be able to register and create accounts, add dancers, and apply them to competitions. They need to be able to securely checkout.

During the competition, the client can use a web-based application to add and process scores and tally results. All judges use iPads for scoring the acts. The dance companies can access results online.

The solution has completely transformed the need to have paper-based score cards and allowed the client to process the results in real time.

We've enjoyed supporting the national dance company with their strong mission of hosting engaging and fun dance competitions across the country and having a set of custom created web applications running smoothly to make their business easier and faster.

Online Viewing and Online Store System for Schools and Parents

Play it Safe!® is a child abuse prevention program developed by The Women’s Center of Tarrant County. The program incorporates age-appropriate scripts and movies to teach children how to reduce their risk of sexual and physical abuse, and sexual assault.

In the past, the ordering of any material was done via phone or product order forms. Interaria was called in to modernize both the ordering system and the overall web presence of the program.

Interaria created a full solution for online ordering of the program material and online management of the user accounts. Schools, applicable organizations, and parents may register on the site and create an account for viewing the store material and placing secure online orders. Each shipped video order is also credited and tracked with a one-year-subscription of unlimited online watching access.

Our process included weekly meetings with The Women’s Center of Tarrant County to finalize the site development plan and online store features. We consulted with the team and reported at every step during the website and web applications development. The key development milestones during the project were overviewing and discussing site features and elements such as the site visuals and brand integration, content structure and navigation, the integration and use use of the Interaria content management system, shipping fee calculators, shopping cart system, check out process, My Account features, and Admin’s features for management of the entire site.
